2014 TAN KAH KEE SCIENCE AWARD was announced in Beijing on June 11. Academician Shen Baogen, Prof. Hu Fengxia, Prof. Sun Jirong were awarded by their work of  "new discovery and mechanism study of LaFeSi giant magnetocaloric materials" . The results could provide technical support for the development of refrigeration technology.
